A&Q about 350Z
Q:
2005 Roadster.. The top opens fine, but upon closing the top hits where its supposed to on the locks and then jumps forward about a quarter of and inch. The only way to close it once its jumped forward beyond the locks is to just barely tap the open button and the locks will fall into there respective holes or manually pull very hard on the silver handle towards the rear of the car. This just happened all of the sudden. Does any one elses silver handle stay in the closed position when the top is closing, I seem to remember before this happening that when it used to close the silver handle would come over my head in the semi-opened position, now it just comes over my head flush in the plastic as if it were in the fully locked position? Any thoughts? Luckily still under warrenty just have not had a chance to get it there.
Thanks
Patrick

My wife and I try to keep ours open most of the time anyway.
Let the dealer fix it. As long as you can get it closed just make you appointment and get it fixed under warranty.
