lou350z: Here we go again! A similar experience with a camera... No Lie and I have a witness. I'm driving along the interstate, at night, followed by a buddy in his pathfinder (this happens shortly after delivery; ie, after nine-month wait for my preorder). He calls me on his cell and advises that a 300zx was approaching me and they are checking out the new Z. Here it comes... they slow down as they pass and I glance over. The driver and passenger are grinning. I think they want to race or something? When I look over a second time, I'm hit in the face with a bright light??? The passenger is hanging out the window with a video camera, in my face!

i usually wave and flash my lights if there isnt a lot of traffic.
i sometimes forget and wave even when im not in my z.

And I don't flash because the HIDs don't like that quick on/off action.
This whole Z community thing is non-existent in the southern San Joaquin valley. I guess it makes sense ....

Good to hear from you again. Like I said - Z paparatzi. Me on stills, you on video. People really did love to see the car when it was first released. They still love it, but there are a few more to see now.

I look into the cars of other Z's but none of them ever wave back, except for one. It was a brickyard and we were driving side by side, and I looked in and we gave each other a nod.
I'd also like to add my experience with a photo camera. I was stuck in heavy traffic on the 5 freeway in Los Angeles, CA, and the rear window on a Dodge Neon rolled down, and this girl popped out and took a couple flashes.

You can flash your brights 72n03Zs. You'll notice that if you don't CLICK into high beams, the HID lows stay on. No on/off action that the HIDs don't like.

Hey, I'll give a wave to any Z I zee but all you new 350 guys never wave back, at least in Phoenix... when you see the 240 in Ferrari yellow with Weld Draglites, wave back!
