A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Well, seeing the plethora of grilles available for the Z, I decided to venture out and begin experimenting with different ones to see what I liked. Starte d of with a "race" grill, both diamond and circular holes, they were okay but looked like the car had a big ol' grin at you, and I didn't like the fact you could see the mounting brackets. Then came the "billet" grill, looked really nice, but really pricey and the edges don't butt up against the edges of the bumber for a "finished" look. Then rolling through some of the other websites I noticed a post about putting chrome strips over the stock plastic grill bars. IMO this option looks the best. I've always liked keeping the OEM look and it definitely dresses up the front end, and best of all it was the cheapest of all the options, about 12 bucks and pep boys. Just a friendly fyi.

I did this about 8 months ago. And I stole it from another guy did this about a year ago. Simple add ons prove much better in my opinion. Very simple and clean look.

I used to have the door-trim strips before I got my stillen grille (which is better). If anyone is thinking of doing this mod, make sure you get the adhesive strips and not the ones that wrap around the edge. I initially made this mistake thinking it would be easier to put them on\clean etc. Well, it's all fun and games until your first car wash. Water gets under the strips, causes them to bubble up, warp, can't put back on. Don't do it.

well when i said scam i just meant they were way over priced. the one from the site you just posted looks exactly like the ones i used. you could find them cheaper than that at an auto parts store but whatever. I got mine for 6-8 bucks.
