New VQ w/more power....Z?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

The new G35 sedan has a reworked version of the VQ engine that claims to have over 300hp. Any one know if this VQ will be moving into the 350Z anytime soon? With this kind of power, maybe it can now compare to some of the cars it was ment to compete with based on its history. If you do a search for 2007 G35 sedan you will get some specs.
Thanks

Agreed!

Well the claim is that the new VQ is 80% reworked maybe that means better fuel economy and torque figures.

Personally I think they need to start with a new fuel system and I dont mean for economy. Bigger injectors and a return style fuel system.

Absolutely right on the need for a stronger fuel system. It is ok for stock power from the factory but not a whole lot more. And it needs a fuel return regardless. I know they did that (sans the fuel return from the factory) to save money keeps costs/selling price low, but if you want to modify the car for substantially more power, you really need a fuel return. Every really good mechanic who deals in high performance that I have talked to has agreed with that. That is why the Z32 TT had one from the factory.
