what do you think ? would the borla design system with a magnaflow muffler be a good mix ? sounds like a good possibility.
also, anyone have detail when injen straight tip system will be available ?

I emailed Injen and they told me early April....this was about a month ago. I think you can order them now, but theres like a 3 week to a month wait on them.

Borla and Magnaflow both are low-grade exhausts... originally they made exhausts primarly for trucks and American cars. You might as well put Flowmasters on your Z.

I have herad great reviews of the Borla. Maybe the Borla was a little too loud for ya ZNESS. you ever hear the saying, "if its too loud your too old". Magnaflow on the other hand i would not put on the Z. as someone said you probably better off with a flowmaster. They are not Z tuners and do mostly american muscle/trucks.

The Borla is actually quieter than stock. the true problem lies in the fact that the Z has poor insulation/soundproofing, thus, the interior dashboard would rattle upon deceleration.

i was reading sport compact car magazine and they said that exhaust only ads about 4 horsepower. IMO its not worth getting a cat back, take it to a muffler shop and have hi-flow cats put on and some good mufflers and your set or you can have a H or X pipe put in.
