I've used the K&N since I got it. A little more growl but no noticeable improvement in performance that I could tell. I know that it's better than stock in terms of quality though.

whats your problem bam-9???? anywho, spring for the jwt popcharger. its only 110 bucks and replaces the stock airbox/filter with a conical type filter that will improve hp and tq a little, it sounds great, looks great, and is easy to install by yourself.

there is no way an air filter is going to give more HP, atmospheric pressure being what it is and all.

what are you talking about. an airfilter such as k&n won't improve much but it will. it gives much more flow than a regular air filter. its like breathing through a plastic bag and then breathing through the same bag with holes in it. much easier.

Hey RLB, why don't you test your theory of breathing through a plastic bag without holes on yourself? Let us know how it turns out and if you need any help holding the bag over your head.

yea right after you go **** yourself. you know im right and so does everybody else in the forum. its not going to be as drastic as that but if you have any common sense at all it will tell you that an air filter with more flow will do the same.
