A&Q about 350Z
Q:
This is my first post and I have never been more excited to post on a forum then this, I just bought a '06 Touring 5 days ago. In just two days after the purchase my F#$%$#!#ing piece of S#$!##$ grage door didn't go all the way up when I was backing out. Anwyay make a long story short, I have a couple of scratches on the back window and I was wondering what product can I buy off the shelf in order to try and see if I can fix it my self first. What suggestions do you guys have? I also messed up the fluid dispenser and I have to take back to the dealer to fix it...d#mn I'm an idiot!

oh poor Z!!! Well this is kinda tricky to remove scratches on the window you have to get the scratch removal system which includes 3m trizact abrassive discs and some kinda paste..If i were you i woudnt even bother i would take it to a body shop they will fix it properly

Thanks for the feedback all. I think perhaps the best option is to plea with the dealership to see if they can remove them for free...one of them is deeper than the others and that might be hard to get out of the glass...anyhow..I'll check out that cleaning material randyshemin suggested..

An update for anyone who cares to know: I took the car to the dealership and their "GLASS GUY" looked at it and told me there is nothing he can do because the scratches are too deep. He did say though this is just going to be a asthethic issue and not something that will cause the glass to break in the future. I will have to either take it to some of these glass repair folks or just try to remove it with some kind of polish myself. Anyway thanks for your help and suggestions.
