I was looking out the window of my office and I park the car right in front of it....I saw a Soccer mom pull up in a huge beat down minivan and opened her door right into my innocent car and didn't even look twice. I swear I wanted to assault her...I see it everyday men open their doors and carefully avoid hitting other cars and women open them as if they have something personal against their neighboring car ....what gives???

I hear you. Some peole just don't get it.
My girlfriend always rolls her eyes when I pick the furthest (safest) parking spot whenever we go anywhere. Like it is some huge deal when we have to walk an extra 200 feet.

Soccer moms always look for the closest spot.. you should already know you have to park as far away in the most inconvienient spot to ensure the soccer mom, who is totally obsessed with finding the closest parking spot, will not muster the energy to attack your car if it means walking an extra 6 inches.

If you guys would just set up a perimeter defense around your car you wouldn't get door ding...
I've found that police tape, some orange cones, a few empty casings and a chalk outline work pretty well...
