The best stuff i use is degreaser, the same you use for your oven and stuff. You spray the tire with water than you squirt the tire and rim all over, use a softer sponge for the rim and a more abrasive scrubbing sponge for the tire, it will take the grease and all the junk off. Don't be afraid to spray the stuff all over the wheel even the brake, it won't hurt it, i have been doing it for years to all my cars. Just good old degreaser from the dollar store. I've been using ultra fine metal polish, and with some serious rubbing you'll be able to get all those watermarks/stains off. Once you get 'em clean, put a few coats of Crystal Guard or wax on them. ;-)
