a guy at my350z.com passed the 50k mile mark a month or 2 ago and his car hasnt had any major problems and is holding up great

I've got about 12,100 but it's not my daily driver. I mostly use it on weekends in good weather. It sits in the garage all winter. I've had it since 8/29/02. One new set of front tires at 9,000 miles but it began needing them at 5,000 miles. Be on the lookout for the road noise at under 30 mph.
A:

23K on mine.
A:

Wow drivenz!!! 50K!!!!
Congratulations! I have only 12,000.

Hmm. Sounds like (OCD) or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. No, not really. :)

Texas lemon law covers two situations:
1) four failed attempts to fix the same problem in the first 24 months (first two attempts have to be in the first twelve months).
2) car is in the shop for a total of 30 days in the first 24 months.
Mine doesn't fall into either of those situations yet. Just got the first set of replacement tires this week. If the wear continues, then I have a case. Total shop time thus far is only 13 days, not that I am keeping track or anything.
A:

Yes, every one of of those problems is real.
Love the car. Hate the quality/reliability. NNA has recently given me more than enough reason to hate the manufacturer too.
I will likely keep it another few months until the 05's are out. Then I'll dump it for something that doesn't say Nissan on it anywhere.

no no... get TT (maybe a 95 or 96), and for the money you get for selling your car... you can get twice the power! (edit: twice the power... maybe with mods..... or not ;) )

Replaced with Eibach Spring
Repair histories:
Both front tires (11k miles, warrantable replacement)

Others:
Average usages 22 mpg. (High Octane)
Oil replacement (twice), next week (the third time)
Still looks and drive like new.

2003 Nissan 350Z base model Brickyard Red w/16k miles since 01/01/03. The car has been great and is still on its original tires (no feathering) with the exception of increased road noise from the tires. On long trips the car gets 31mpg and a cruising range of 565 miles!
