A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Anyone have any advice or experience on drill/slot rotors and if they really make a difference on stopping. Also I am not able to remove the rear rotor on my 2005 350Z ... is there something holding it in after the caliper has been removed?

drilled and slotted rotors actually weaken the rotor. drilled more so than slotted. if anything you should get slotted only.

I have Centric Crosss Drilled and Slotted rotors and they are awsome! The brakes never fade and the wheels seem to stay clean longer. I like them so much I put a set on the Maxima too... A one hour job on the Z and a 2 hour job on the Maxima. I have air tools and a good jack.

I put the slotted stop techs and hawk pads on all the way around and have been pleased so far. I would guess roughly over 30k miles on set up. Limited dust and Stops great!! Make sure you install the shims if you go with the hawks. you'll end up with some clatter otherwise.

Juiceman, check if our rotors have threaded bolt hole(s) through them. Normally a bolt placed into these will push on the hub and allow you to screw a stuck rotor off.
