V2: The Flopp...
Two Pieces, with INTEGRATED MAF housing... Not Many were distributed from NISMO, they were found to loose HP... Recalled from dealers hands...

Sharp, I've seen it at family Nissan Dealer. But you can find it at 350Z-tech.com.

Really Driven Z? The Gen 2 intake looses HP? Wow. Then I guess It's just for show. Not worth the money. I'll stick to my K&N Drop in filter.

the Gen 2 made with the integrated MAF was the messed up one...BUt apparetly the GEN3(which i guess is called the GEN2 now) using the factory MAF housing is fine and a little improvement over the GEN 1. Overall there are 3 versions, Gen1, Gen2(the one that had problems with the integrated MAF), and the newest gen3. So a gen3(possibly called a revised gen2 now) is what youd want to get.

Get the one that's the cheapest. You need pyscological help if you think you can tell the difference in 1-2 hp.

I'm satisfied with the drop in k&N. Base on the 350Z tech.com, the stock airbox is well designed, it serves both as a semi-ram air intake as well cold air intake. They concluded that the only drawback is the paper filter element. So I guess with the K&N drop in, it already solves the problem. Also if you look at the Nismo 350GT from Japan, it kept the stock airbox, although it has an aluminum pipe from the airbox to the throttle body. And that aluminum pipe is what i'm looking for.
