A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I don't have any aftermarket suspension, so the rear sway bar should still be at factory specs. Are there any rear suspension components that require lube? If so, what? It is definitely the rear suspension and not loose items, as I have had someone verify outside of the vehicle. It almost appears that there may be a little play in the upper arm of the rear suspension. Has anyone had any experience with those wearing out? I have 116K miles on my Z, so it is probably time for stuff to start wearing out. Thanks for the help.
A:
Mine has done this from the beginning. I spray WD40 on the bushings and spring pads and the noise goes away until the next rain washes it off.

I use waterproof silicone grease on my bushings. Usually lasts 12 to 18 months.

116K on the beast already, eh? Nice work. She probably doesn't sit long enough for the oil to settle back into the pan.
