A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have the Nissan nose mask, and use it for only for long trips, because I don't really like the looks of it on. First time on is a hassel, after that not much of a problem. The bra itself is heavy vinyl with a soft lining and it needs to be warm to put it on, because it is a tight fit. When you see all the bugs and crap on it after a road trip, you will be glad you have one.

I've got nose bras for all of my toys (350z roadster, 300zx conv., boxster) I use them for same purpose as you are speaking about. Highway drives of about 100 miles or more. Once you've had them on and off a couple of times they are pretty painless to put on. I have ZERO nose damage to any of my cars.
One of my friends installs the clear plastic protection systems. I can get them done pretty cheap. Material cost and a few beers--after the job is done) but, I really don't like the look. They are pretty much invisible, but they still show the edges. I just like the option of using the mask when I feel like it. As I said, they are pretty simple to get on and off and are effective. All of mine are the 2 piece masks, so I can open the hoods without removing the mask.
