Should have her license revoked until she's 18 and be on probation for a year after that. Luckily you were ok [and I'm assuming she was too], it isn't always the case. People on cell phones, 95% of the time women, almost kill me on a daily basis on my motorcycle. I'd be dead if that broad did what she did to you to me.

Yeah, I'm Okay other than the fact that my back and neck are killing me. Ihave to see a chiropractor several times a week. I was on my way to pick up my fiance, thank God she wasn't in the car because the passanger side was where most of the damage was.
I hired a lawyer who was able to get me $25900 for the Z, which was about $5K more than I was expecting because I didn't have any mods, But what I didn't know is they pay you for tax and lisence too. The lawyer is working on my injury case now which will get me a little more.
I want another Z but not sure if I should buy the '06 or wait for the '07. With the rumors of the body style change I may go for the '06.
The car held up very well for what it went through. The body damage isn't too extenive, most of it was frame damage. The rear axle was bent and the rear passenger tire was laying on the ground at the scene. The exhaust was dragging on the ground, the rear side window was shattered, and the body kit on the passanger side was torn off.
I have pics, but I can't post them because I do not have a hosting sight. If someone wants to post them for me just let me know.

Man that is horrible. Glad you're not hurt too badly. Makes me put my own petty little problems into perspective. Some states are making laws that people under a certain age can't use a cell phone while driving. You know, pull over and stop to make the call if you just have to call. Good idea.
I used to ride motorcyles, like Zlover57, and that makes me think and cringe as well. I almost bought the farm one time on a bike in a similar situation but my panic stop I'd practiced with the bike worked, but juuuuust barely, whew. By inches.
So GLAD your fiance was not in the car! She'd probably have had serious injury. I wish you the best getting through all this and hope you can replace your Z with another one. I've had mine 2+ years now and the car really has grown on me. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
Funny but doing leg lifts with light ankle weights (with your knees bent) strengthening the lower abs has helped my back problems almost miraculously! Was already doing crunches but this made a huge improvement. Just a thought for when you get to the point you can start strenghening your back again. Chiropractor helped me but doing the stretching and strenghening exercises also helps immensely. Hang in there as back injuries are slow to heal but they will get better with proper treatment. If you want I'll email you my back exercises. Maybe your injury is not bad enough to need them. Hope so.
