Q:
When I was stationed in Tex'ass I put my front plate in the dash somewhere in the front windshield I was there for three years and the law never messed w/ me not even the MP's on base which were always bored so they would pull you over for every little infraction. Has anyone else tried this w/ any luck. I now reside in FL my self no more problems

Yeah I got pulled over for speeding 80 on a 70. The officer went ahead and wrote me up for no front license plate as well. The judge told me it was going to cost me 71 bucks for not having a front license plate. I then informed the judge it's not fair that we have corvettes running around in Houston with no front license plate and I have to pay the price for that. She got upset about my remark and stated that "regardless its the law." Ain't that a Biaaatch!................Show me 10 corvettes and I will point out 10 license plates..

The new corvettes don't have the front license plate cover like the previous models therefore you won't see many with front license plates unless they use a special bracket. I have yet to see one but I am sure it will look like crap. IMO. Look for yourself.

I got pulled over in North Richland Hills which is about 20 min from Dallas.
I know Irving and the whole metroplex requires a front plate.

I am in NJ and have been running without a plate for three years and never been stopped. "Knock on Wood". I even bought the grille mount for my plate, but I never even used it. I see a lot of Z's in NJ without their front plates. I guess it all about being lucky.

I am in Fort Worth and havn't been pulled over yet..............yet. I see cars ALL the time with only rear plates.
a funny.....fwpd tried to hit me with a laser in front of me on I-20 the other day and didnt work due to no front plate. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
