A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I owned a 2003 G35 Sedan and the Bose system in that car sounded better than the Bose system in my 2006 350Z. The 350Z has a sub-woofer and it still doesn't sound as good. Anybody notice the same results????

I'm not impressed with the sound, not sure what they did wrong, but for a bose it's disappointing...

the bose systems have always sucked in the Z's. z32 especially.

I am happy with my Bose system on my Z.
I know that some people dont appreciate all the vibrations behind the
drivers seat when loud. I guess it just depends on the person.

The first Bose radio that came with my 04 Touring was bad, when they replaced it when it went out,the new one has been a million times better.

A decnet aftermarket system will always sound better than stock, even the bose system

Zelous; North of Clovis about six miles from the Texas border, your about as close to the colorado border. Have been into the four corners Airport a few times. Nice country, you get a little more rain than we do.

I won't be going deaf, and I don't listen to much **** that goes boom, boom, but the sound "quality" of the Bose system is probably the worst stock system you can buy for $2000.
In my case, amp replaced twice (drifting bass level, replaced with no bass, finally replaced with no bass!)
Head unit replaced twice (no sound from left channel with cd, second one would not eject a cd)
Now it all sits in a cut up (had to get my cd's out!) pile of garbage in the corner of my garage(replaced with stuff that does reproduce High's and Low's and not some dumbass's vision of how it "should" sound as is the case with all Bose products). The touring is just absolutely not worth the money

Agreed....hence my Super Black 2005 Enthusiast model. All the fun without all the fru fru
