A&Q about 350Z
Q:
My 2005 350Z 6 speed had a terrible clicking issue from the rear end. I brought it in, before the actual tsb was written up and they replaced the half axles on both sides. Of course the clicking came back, but I just tried to forget about the obnoxious noise.
I now have a 2006 350Z 6 speed and voila, no clicking. Wow, it's so awesome to drive without clicking, I didn't realize how obnoxious it sounded. I actually enjoy driving with the windows down again.

I'm bringing mine in just for that and also to get a stupid nail removed from the same tire for the second time in a month.
I swear, I've had more nails removed from this car than all my other cars combined.

No, I got rid of it for a totally different reason. I thought I needed more space. I bought a left-over 05 passat wagon loaded and got a 6K discount from invoice. But, a few months into the wagon I decided I needed to have the 350Z again. So, now I've got both. I suppose the decision to trade the 05 350Z was a lot easier after the a**hole rear-ended me. It was only cosmetic damage, but piled on top of the clicking, and then there was the license plate that an 18 wheeler kicked up which sweeped the entire driver's side of the car requiring a whole repaint of the door, and rear quarter panel. I felt the car was cursed.
But I love this new 350Z. It's the Touring, I used to have the Enthusiast. I love the upgrades, leather, and upgraded stereo. It has minor cosmetic changes too, which look appealing, the new knobs inside the car have more texture. Of course the car attracts all kinds of attention.
I'll never forget the 4 year old kid crossing Park Avenue last weekend in Manhattan with his parents on a bicycle. He dropped his bike, pointed at the car and was yelling, 'look, mommy, mommy, that's my car, mommy, that's my car.' His mom was embarrased, but I just laughed because I totally identified with that kid. That was my response when I saw my first Z as a kid, I just kept telling myself, that's my car, that's the one.
