A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I did some research on this and the dealer wants $350 for this. I did find it, however, from courtest parts for $238. This would be an alternative instead of the plenum spacer that is now selling from various MFG's from $230 and up since the problem of the front two cylinders being starved of air in the upper RPM band. Here is the link.

Not too bad for a brand new part. But I couldn't tell the difference between my 04 lower intake and the ones shown Courtesy. Do you know by any chance?
A:
So the question is... is it worth it? I might as well get the spacer and keep my torque and add 12 hp or so. Also a little easier to install.

well, I don't know if you're really gonna loose torque. The 300hp version has new ECU that's why it redlines at 7000rpm. It might not be cause by the plenum itself. Think about it, why would you loose torque if you improve the breathing of the lower plenum. I think they had to do that trade off thru the ECU to make the torque and HP more linear to achieve optimum response without freaking out the rear tires.
