A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I seem to have noticed that after getting this recall done that i don't seem to get the same mileage as i had before. Not sure why? But my gauge seems to drop quite a bit driving the same way and route.
A:
Check he mileage as it should be the same. The fuel tank recall regarding transfer of fuel will show a quicker response on the gauge from before it was done. Remember that you have two fuel tanks in one. They are connected at the top and the transfer of fuel was accomodated by a shutter valve that stuck.

I was getting about 19 city, now about 16. My driving habits are the same from home to work and back to home with no A/C usage. Tire pressure the same. I think i might know why, but no conclusive evidence. It might be that i started pumping at the same station which now has ethanol. Does anyone know if ethanol burns fuel faster?

Yeah, somewhere I thought I heard that using gasoline with ethanol or cars that use E85 get less MPG than using regular gasoline.
You may have to do a google search on this to confirm.

Get the factory service manual and look at the gas tank design. There is no connection at the bottom so there is a shuttle valve tha tallows the fuel to transfer. There was a service bulletin on this to boot. The gas tank gets dropped to do the fuel hose service as well as the rear end and exhaust. So, it is quite extensive. They could not replace my shuttle valve so they replaced the gas tank. If the shuttle vlave sticks fuel will not transfer and you cannot fill the tank to full.
