It is not really a true dual because there is a small "H" type crossover up near where it connects to the cat but it is as close as you can get to true dual.
I put this exhaust on my 05 ZR in June of 2005 with 186 miles on the odometer. Now am just shy of 10k miles and have had no problems. The exhaust sounds and looks good.

I have had the Borla TD on my car for three years now. It was my second mod. It is much deeper sounding than stock, but not too loud. I would have to say it would be one of my top three exhaust choices for the Z.
Also according to the testing done by Sport Z Magazine it is in the top two or three exhaust they tested in terms of performance.
