A&Q about 350Z

i have 275/35/19 on the rear of my 2003 nissan 350z. It is about that time to get new tires and im wondering if i could go 295/30/19? the rims are 9.5 inches. can anyone give me info

Im sure its doable, but why? you need to be packing some serious power to need more traction than a 275... its pretty much the optimal size on a 9.5, i thnk most people that run 295's have a 10.5in wheel

so what youre saying is that 9.5 is too small ! will the tire look too big for the rims ? id really like to know because i found a really good deal on tires

yes thats what im saying. Also it may negatively effect handling. refer to this thread, its not terribly informative but its the only one i could find off hand. im sure theres others though, do a search for "295". Im sure somebody will tell you that theyve done it and its fine but i and most other people would say not to
