Good Year Eagles are a bit pricey but worth it. I am on my second set all the way around.
The car deserves better tires than the POS Bridgestones!!!!

With the low treadwear rating on the RE040s, you ought to consider yourself lucky.
Your choices show you don't mind spending money. Good luck.

Go with the Eagle's. They are great tires. I have them on my Z and love them. If you can afford the Z, then why not great tires for a great car? Enjoy the car. You can't take your money with you.

Before you get tires, did you have the alignment corrected. Check out the available tires in your size on tire rack. Lots of good info there. You may find some really good tires at considerably less cost than the Goodyears.
I track my 350 roadster a couple of times a year. My primary track car is my SC Miata. this is road racing on courses like Lime Rock, Watkins Glen and VIR on the east coast.
I have been very happy with Kumho's and Dunlops. Much less expensive than the Goodyear's and I think every bit as good.
Give Tire Rack a look before you decide on tires.
