A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Could anybody tell me who has the f1-gs-d3's on their vehicle ,what tire pressure they run at. The tire has a maximum tire load of 51 psi. I would like to know what the consensus of you all run them at. I know some will say run lower for better handling, or run more pressure for better gas mileage. Any info would be helpful.

the sticker on the door doesn't work if you have aftermarket tires.

That is the most untrue statement. I asked a question about tire pressure and aftermarket rims, going to a larger rim size and such to the best shop in my area...Curry's Auto.
The answer is...you go with what the sticker in the door says and it does not matter what brand the tires are on the car. Even if you move to a larger size rim you still use the same tire pressure. I was told that maybe in an extreme case, such as putting 19s or 20s on a car that had 16s or something, you might...might, add a pound or 2 of pressure because the side wall is now so small, but even then usually not.
Now I did have a debate with my motorcycle buddies on a one of the Harley Davidson forums and if you put on Metzler brand tires on your Harley you do run them at a higher pressure than the stock Dunlops. I found this strange because cars are not the same way. But I also found that the Metzler tires that I put on my Kawasaki do have the same pressures as stock tires. Must be something with the weight of HD motorcycles.

matt... i find that hard to believe. what i do believe is that most tires and most cars use basically the same tire pressure.

Which do you find hard to believe?
You said: "the sticker on the door doesn't work if you have aftermarket tires."
Your second posting negates your previous posting.
Also not all cars and trucks have the same exact tire pressure.
So which is it...

i don't believe the sticker on the door was intended for use with any other tire than the ones that come on it. however, i believe it may be "close enough" for most other tires.

If this statement were true then everyone that has changed tire brands has the wrong pressure. Like I said...I asked the people that I consider "the experts" and who I take all my vehicles to. The answer is the pressure that is stated on the sticker is the one that you use regardless of tire brand.
But if you what to run a higher or lower pressure you go right ahead and ruin your tires.
