350z rear end how much h.p.

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

How strong are the rear ends in a 350z,I see many here adding superchargers and such but will the rear end hold up.

eventually you will need to upgrade... I'm no technical engineer but i would assume that if the APS kits are pushing 400 outta the box with no other mods necessary, that at least 400 HP is fine and dandy... but i wouldn't advise to be dropping the clutch in first way too often... torque is fun, but eventually something's got to give... y'know... my best advise is to look into performance drivetrain parts for high HP applications, find the ones that have your target HP included in their range and get that one...

A:

As long as you aren't slicks/drag radials with a very strong clutch, I wouldn't worry about it until you are WELL over 400hp.
With slicks and a 6-puck, I'm sure you could destroy the rear end of almost any stock car before too long.
Rear ends break when nothing else is allowed to give, so as long as you are getting wheelspin, one way or another, you should be ok until your power levels are very high.
