A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I am getting goodyear f1-gs-d3's put on my z next week, can anybody who has them tell me how they like them?
Also, does anybody know how fast the Z06 can do in the quarter mile?
Can the Z keep up with the Z06 if they add a turbo or a super charger?
Probably a dumb question ,but I was just wondering.

i just bought those exact tires and put them on my car about 5 minutes ago. haven't driven on them yet so i can't tell you how they are, but they got good reviews.

You'd have to do about 20K worth of engine work in order to keep pace with a Z06.

What did you guys do about the size issue for the fronts? Googyears do not come in 225/45/18

I was thinking about getting these tires for the my z right now. Right now I only have to replace the rears (as the fronts have 15K less). When the time comes does anyone know what to do about the fronts? Since they don't make that tire size.

I have Good Year Eagle F1 245x45's on the front and 255x45's on the rear of my stock wheels.
They are a little bit wider and lower than the stock tires.
I have 15k miles on them.

go with the stillen supercharger, i think they get like 410HP out of the z with it, should beat the z06 (c5). the greddy turbo kit only made like 354 HP. for about the same money the decision shouldn't be too hard to make.

Thanks guys for the input. I really appreciate it. Can't wait to get my new tires Monday. Then hopefully onto the sway bars soon. I think down the road I will probably go with the stillen supercharger. From what I hear it's a good quality charger.
