A&Q about 350Z
Q:

You lucky people :P
A:

I have 650 miles on 06 Touring AT. It's used for mixed highway and quite a bit of in-town driving. So far, averaging 20.6.
A:

2/3 highway, 1/3 city. 20.6 overall so far
A:

Very good for a heavy sportscar. Compared the RX-8 and even little 2.0 4 cylinder s2000, it gets better highway gas mileage. I still don't know why the s2k gets such terrible highway gas mileage from the tiny a$$ engine, the gearing isn't that* agressive, sheesh.

28 mpg at 80 mph I have seen up to 32 mpg all interstate. I drive 48 miles one way to work 15 mixed the rest all interstate at 80 mph. Not bad for this kind of vehicle. I have owned a 72 240 and a 75 280 before, and have always been impressed with the performance versus mpg.
A:

I'm getting an average of 22-23 mixed driving. I get around 18 in the city, and 27 on the highway.

A:

Depending on how much I get on the throttle, milage varies about 1.5mpg. With winter tires I was getting about 20.5mpg over the life of a tamk of gas aroudn town, including some hard cornigering and acceration. At about 80mph, with cruise control I'd get about 27 mpg, on the highway. Now that I have summer tires back on, I've noticed around town milege go back up to 21.5mpg and highway almost to 28mpg.

I just drove 178 miles non-stop. 95% was on the highway. Average speed for the trip was 64 MPH. Average MPG was 30.1 I used the cruise control for at least 160 miles of the trip. I have a 6 speed, touring model with Michelin Pilot tires.

I just got rid of my 5AT for a 6MT. With the auto I got about 27.5 going from my Dads house in Palmdale to San Diego, with the 6MT i got 28.1. With cruise at about 70-73 for the I-15, theres a long stretch thats 55mph too. City Ive been averaging 23 with the 6-speed and I did about the same with auto. ALOT less(mid teens) when I get on it though. Its all in how you drive!

No problem. Thats what I thought you meant to say.
Yeah. This car is meant to go fast and driving 70MPH on the insterstate seems like you're only going 50 so there's that urge to go faster.
When I first got my Z, I would be driving and then suddenly realize that I'm already doing 80-85 MPH. I'm thinking "Man!! Am I really going this fast?"
