A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I am very new to the nissan world.
I have an engine, nissan, the rest Im not sure of. It says nissan Z on the head. It is a 4 cylinder, and is fuel injected. Some numbers on the case are N186AN, and W 14, and 02267.
I need to find out what this engine is because I need a computer for the fuel injection so I can run the engine. I don't know the year or the vehicle it came out of.
Are there any identifying things on a nissan engine that I can look for to help determine the year and type of engine?

if it's a 4 cylinder it aint a 350Z then thats for sure

Could be the old 200sx Z-Nap motor. Only 115HP but really would wind out. 8 spark plugs on a four cylinder. Very interesting motor for the day.
Had fun telling people it was a 8 cylinder ....
Look it has 8 spark plugs don't it? Lol !!!
That old 200sx was pretty fun. It had some nice interior feature too.
That was when I was young and couldn't afford a Z or the insurance.
I don't know how young people do it these days.
I even liked SS back then. Here's the new one 25 years later:

What car are you talking about? Are you saying your new Z has this engine in it ? If so, your pretty stupid, and should consider shooting yourself. J/k
