M5 would kick the Z's ass over and over and over gain. Hate German cars and love the Z but thats just no comparison. V10 vs V6, 500hp vs 300hp
M5 would even kick the Z's ass on curvy roads. Iv'e seen a race between M3 CSL, Skyline GTR Z-tune, M5, 911 carrera S, Gallardo on a track, and the M5 kicked everyones ass except for the Skyline GTR Z-tune.

very well said...are you kidding me? 350 vs an m5. completely different cars for one, plus the m5 is an absolute beast. the 2 cars are not even close to being comparable

whole different class i drove my wifes boss' m5 holy cow.his was the v-8 model with 400+hp's.but your talking over 80k compared to 30k.the current m3 would kick the 350's ass.nissan needs to come up with something better.design horse power etc.nissan needs to go completely retro.bring back the 240's body style and weight.then it would be a beast with the current drive train.right now it's a pig and getting slapped around by 4 door sedans that have a turbo 4cylinder.i love the Z but it needs work.

The M5 can take on Ferrari's Lambo's and Porsche Turbos, It is a 4 door sports car. The M5 is more than one class away from the 350Z it's at least 2 classes if not more.

Well I did sell the Z, but here is what a million and half dollar house in Brookline with my 2003 Is300, 2004 Range Rover, and my buddy Mikes 2006 M5 looks like. As for the question would a 350Z keep up? I was very proud of my 350z when i had it and it was a great value, but these two cars are not even close. In every aspect the M5 is better as it should be.

The new M5 does the 1/4 in 12.7 and weighs over 4Klbs.
