Sqoodwi3, The damage was done by a dealer in Yonkers, NY.. Even though they paid for the repair, it should have never happened.. I'm now in Saratoga Springs about 75% of the time. I watched the new Nissan of saratoga on RT9 near exit 13 of the Northway go up. I went in and met the service manager. His name is Blaine Banhart. He is a real gentleman. They replaced my transmission oil last week and he loaned me is own car while they worked on mine. They will do all my work from now on. I live about 4 miles from the dealership on the southern end of Saratoga Lake right off RT 9P.
I have an appointment for them to do the fuel line re-call the first week in May.
Looks like a very good dealership to deal with.

great site. but it will never happen! I can't fix a scratch or i'll end up making it worser.
Anyhow, new rim is definitely out of the option. These rims are like 400 a piece....so if its just $100 a wheel to repair (hopefully) then iw ould consider.
i just feel like an arse b/c my car is still brand new and it already has a curb rash.

ya my dad borrowed my car for the day and it came back with curb rash. i kinda jus decided to live with it

I did this on my left wheel when I first got my Z, was pretty peeved. Hard to judge the Z is quite wide.
A temporary solution (very girly) is touch up with silver nail polish.

in addition to the really bad rash that the car already had on the rims... i had to jump a curb to avoid hitting a jeep (who suddenly swerved into my lane) accidentally rubbed a curb at a McDonalds on the blind side...
ran over a curb (it was dark and the curb was a median, however it was grass all the way down except 4 feet of cement past the edge of the grass...) i guess they made it like that for 18 wheelers to run over...but with the cement pavement i couldn't distinguish between curb and pavement so i went past the grass and turned... found out that it was a curb...

staticivi man. be nice to the z. jk. i used to have a prelude that took a horrible beating. sometimes bad luck happens way to much to one car. lucky for me my z has fairly good luck.
