I just wanted to share my tire experience with the Nissan dealer. My '04 only had 14,800 miles on it and the rears were already gone. I tried to get the dealer involved and they said it was a "non-issue". 14k - 15k was reasonable for the Z. They wanted $665.00 just to replace the 2 rears with the same Potenza's that lasted less than 15,000. Well I may be crazy but I'm not stupid. My local tire & wheel guy put on a full set of Nitto NT555 Extreme's for $695 out the door! They are GREAT. They handle better, last longer and look better. Don't waste your money at the dealer. When those factory tires wear out in 15k to 20k, go buy some real tires.

Just watch your inner sidewalls on those Nittos. I've seen bubbles appear on the inner sidewall on two different sets of Nittos. I'm not saying it will happen to you - just keep a check on them.
