My friend who has an STi has invited me to join him on a drive on the Dragon.
For those of you not familiar with the Dragon it is a 11 mile stretch with 318 curves....Yes it is a lot of driving....
We will start out in maryvile tn and go up to the nc line because when you come back down there are like no cops ever.....
It will be Dec the 3rd....
Any one else interested?????????

Possible, went up there on the R6 few weekends ago, holla at me closer to that date, if weather permits, is a good possibility.

Know Brown County well. The "Indy Idlers" Street Rod Club used to have their annual October meet there at Nashville, Indiana just inside of Brown County State Park. It’s a neat area with a lot of ups and downs and around and a rounds. I’ll add that time to my calendar for next summer and I'll talk to our local club members and see if they would like to attend also.

There was some meet at BCSP the last time I was there, maybe in the spring. I saw a cherry Cobra, possibly a 65 or 66, and some very nice Mustang GT 500s there at the Inn. Now that I think about it, it must have been a FORD get together, as I saw several other mustangs as well.
Still haven't been to the Dragon, but want to sometime. I was even in TN last week.
I may come down for the July 07 event. Thanks.
Hey, didn't you guys used to meet on Grandview Dr a few years back? I think that guy moved, he had a burgundy Z32.

PD, Not sure on the Grandview Dr location. Tom Wood Nissan's new facility in Carmel is our new meeting spot ont he 2nd Thurs of every month. Last Burgundy Z32 I remember was a 'vert. It was replaced with a white 'vert and that would be our PreZ.
For the event we are planning for July, we are lining up live music for Friday night, and 3 different bands on Sat that will play throughout the different events. We are going to wrap up the show early and get out on a poker run through the twisties, down to Story, back up around through Bean Blossom, out Hwy 45 and back around to Nashville for BBQ on the patio. For Sunday, look for either autocross (dependent on the town letting us) or drag racing at the Brown County Dragway. Expect a party. It will be at the Brown County Inn, so downtown is just across the street and everything is walking distance for those that don't want to hang out at the show portion.
Didn't mean to hi-jack the thread. I already have my cabin booked for ZDayZ. Love the Dragon and try to get there as often as possible. Watch for oncoming traffic surprises, keep it in your lane, don't cut corners and keep the rubber side down!
