Q:
the potenzas on my car say 35psi. the dealer has them inflated to 45 front, 43 rear. should i take it down to 35?
A:
i had issues with my tire pressure sensors. if it went below 28 it would warn me, but when it went back up they wouldn't turn off. i took it in to the dealership. their solution, reset the sensor and bump my tire pressure to 40.
i could have done that...

don't go by the psi on the tire - refer to the placard on the door jamb

35 PSI cold. My dealer and their tire shop did the same thing - 40+ pounds. Idiots.

If you don't have one, you could think about buying a small compressor to keep the tires at spec.

yeah... my compressor just kicked the bucket... dammit! gotta use the crummy one at the gas staions now...good thing it's not too often
