A&Q about 350Z

I was reading around in some of these posts. I have a 2004 Z Enthusiast, and when I shift into gear I feel the shifter vibrating and sometime having pretty heavy kickback, also 1st to 2nd feels very notchy. I wasn't sure if this was normal for the Z or if I should take it in, I just saw some people questioning about it?
A:
I'd take it in. Doesn't sound right to me at all.
