You know the only problem I have with Cali emissions is the fact that all the other states / countries don't have the same standards.
I mean really what is Cali little contribution to this going to be? It's a worldwide problem. The skies aren't only over Cali. The winds don't only blow over Cali.
I could understand if other countries in the world or, even all the other states would get into the picture.
Don't forget - Auto emissions only account for 10% of the total smog. Factories are still the biggest polluters out there. We are just an easy target for the politicians. End Rant !!! ;)

As China and India begin to produce more exhaust and factory output, the US won't be able to make a dent in the environment. They have populations in the billions. We are a measly 350 million.
They already account for a large portion of the world's pollution.

I was in Buenos Aires, Argentina a couple of years ago and the air pollution was un-bearable. Going for a walk around the block was out of the question!!!! One day we got caught in a traffic jam on a hot summer day and it was sickening...the car fumes, the heat, the air...what a mess to be caught in.
They also have the craziest drivers in the whole world. Almost every car has a small dent. Your driving down a street approaching an intersection...cars from the other side just fly across it was like being in an amusement park with the electric cars just missing each other....your driving on a two lane street and before you know it there are four cars going in the same direction!!!!
BTW we have the "testing" in my county, Ohio and it's all BS!!!
My SB ZR still feels like HEAVEN....what a wild ride!
