Ahh yes, Thanks. I havent got around to changing the sig yet. I really did love my car, just couldnt get over the tire crap and the way nissan is covering it up. I still frequent my350z.com and this site because I have met some great people over the years on these 2 sites and even though I prob will never buy another nissan product, I like to post here and there on both sites, usually positive post, unlike my negative one here. ha, sorry I ve had a bad month. It is really funny you got a TL...I was deciding between that and a Z then opted to the Z...but if I had to get another car...the TL would be it. Do you love it?
I like that there are only two options...with or without Navi. It is a fine car.

So far it is the best car that I have ever owned. of course its not a Z or a true sports car for that matter, but I like what it is. Its firm, but not harsh at all like my Z was, Awesome in the corners, great acceleration, nice interior and tons of electronic gizmos to play with. Bluetooth hands free phone, talking Nav, built in XM, DVD-A audio suround sound. Its a blast. Tons of trunk space and comfy to haul 4 people to dinner in or on a road trip. ive only got 900 miles so no problems at all yet, still to early to tell. Only thing that I see from keeping this car from being the #1 for a mid sized sports sedan is Front wheel drive. I really like the feel of a car with rwd. Sorry to go off topic. BEN

Thread hijacking really sucks, guys.
Most '03 Zs came from the same assembly line in Oppama, Japan. The plant site may have changed late in the production year.
The "problem" was spoken to by some owners, and not spoken to by others.
There was no magical fix that satisfied all owners. Many continued to cry for new tires every few thousand miles, while others did not.
Some owners opted for different brands of tires, having lost faith in the OEM Bridgestone RE040s, which were, by most accounts, simply crappy tires.
If your friend wants a Z, he has to choose the car or choose to listen to the bleating. If he buys it, he should get it aligned according to Nissan specs, and then get off the Bridgestones as soon as he can.
The car is not cheap, but it's a blast.

Not mine, mine is black but If thats a chick car then call me Nancy. Whats funny though, is out of the 10 350Z we have in my town, 8 are driven by females. Im not dogging the Z, I loved it at the time. Still think they are bad azz looking and drive well on mountain twisties. Well, looks like I thread jacked again. i've raced an '04 TL cause i worked with the guy... and he was talking all kinds of shyt... we had two guys waiting at a designated point to see who won and also a guy to start the race... i just wish we were racing for slips... i woulda had me 4 new TLs... damn the luck...
we raced 4 times (he wasn't satisfied) and i won BTW...

Yeah, I would hope my old Z would beat my TL in a drag race being my TL weighs way more, has 4 doors and a child seat in the back. lol. They make a comptec super charger for the new TL but I hear its way over rated for the price vs perfromance. I think its like 3500$ and gives you at most 60 whp. I must admit though, From about 70mph to 140 my TL feels like it gets there quicker with the VTEC wound up but Im sure the Z must have been faster, just didnt feel like it at the time. Anyways, happy st pattys. BEN

I have had the distinct pleasure of owning both the 350Z vin#137 and an 04' TL. Both cars are, imho, fun to drive.
Presently I have an '05 Pathfinder, for practical needs. I truly miss my Zcar and given the right monetary circumstances I will own another, feathering aside.
Maybe if i ever win the lottery I will get a GTR
