A&Q about 350Z

Guys, my apartment, house, and Zkey ended up walking off. I can't find them anywhere! I am currently in NC, my appendix ruptured the day I was supposed to go back home. So I have been stuck here, waiting on hospital follow up. Anyways my keys are gone, and I am thinking about getting another keyless entry remote, maybe two of them, but how do I program the damn thing? I also need another master key, I have 2 spares, but.... How much is it gonna cost me for new key and keyless entry?
I have seen the keyless entry remotes on ebay, have any of you bought the remotes and programmed them?

I believe you can only program the remote at the dealer. I haven't had to do this yet but I think this is the only way to do this.

I bought a key contol remote off of ebay for a coworker since he doesn't have an ebay account. It was dirt cheap for a brand new one...like $12 including shipping.
To program it was a piece of cake too.
Step by step:
1) Get in your car (make sure it's turned off)
2) Close the door
3) Insert your key in and out of the ignition (but do not turn it at all) 10 times in less than or about 10 seconds
4) Then click any of the buttons on the remote...(we clicked the lock button)
That's it, the 'instruction' sheet should come with the remote, but you can get them off a google search. It was really easy, so don't worry. Just make sure when buying it from ebay that it is for a 350Z.

A dealer will need to program it, it's a pain in the butt having to go to a dealer, my old 200sx was constantly playing up - I went through 3 keyless remotes.

Maya: Trust me the key FOB is super easy to program yourself and you do not need to take it to the dealer.
The master key might be another story...as I believe the dealer can only reprogram that for sure...you can't do this, but again for the remote key FOB, it's the easiest DIY thing in the world.

Yeah, he is the opposite of me, a bum! He just tries too leach money off my mother, and drinks beer all the time. Its a shame, he moved away though, thank you god!
