Drive year round. I get a kick out of every time I hear someone say to get a POS winter beater and spare the Z driving in winter. Hello people!! Its a entry level sports car made by Nissan, its not a $200,000 Ferrari. Most people can not afford to have 2 vehicles and dedicate one for winter and one for summer. ok, ill get off my soap box now. Sorry. haha BEN

i don't think the point is people think it's too nice of a car to submit to the winter weather. the point is, it doesn't drive well in snow. you could wreck very easily.

yeah, it only took me one trip in about 1/2 inch of snow to realize that I'd never drive it in the snow again. Besides, if you can afford a Z, you can afford a beater car. I will NEVER drive in snow because of this reason.

I also drive my 350Z in the winter on Blizzaks. It handles just fine. I've never driven in the snow without Blizzaks so I couldn't tell you just how much better they are that the stock Potenzas.
I thought about getting a beater but didn't have a good place to store it and didn't want to have to deal with pulling around it in the driveway.

I had to drive 5 mph in the snow in order to maintain control.
DO NOT DRIVE YOU Z IN THE SNOW, well, unless you have a Z deathwish.

its fine in the snow if...1 you have snow tires ...2 you have traction control....yet i have michlin sport tires that came with the car and drove it here in toronto...p.s. I stayed out of what little snow we had....its only a car that we may have for a short time in our life... drive it every day you can and enjoy it while you can.......

I've been driving my car all winter with Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires. Not a problem at all in the slop. Not as good as my Siverado Z71, just be a safe driver.

sometimes i would prefer snow gunk to all the construction debris i have to drive through here. the roads are still trying to catch up with the population. they seem to be working on all of them at once.
