Q:
Any recent buyers who bought Z '06, with a navigation system? Was it tough locatiing one?
I just recently bought a touring Z '06 model with nismo body kit. I wanted the navigation, but there's not many being built plus there's no timeframe if there will be one available.
Just wanted to holla at all the Z crew members. Glad to be aboard.

Hey AirRayz i feel ya...i order my 06 touring 350Z, 3 months ago with navigation it should of been here like 2 days ago but still waiting on it any moment now.Its almost imposible to get a 06 z with navigation ,on the other hand if you dont care about the exterior colour interior and the options they could locate 1.I personaly love black and the burnt orange seats its (AMAZING) other than that i'm not interested.so i said F@ck it let me order it custom made straight from MAMA Japan...

Hi AirRayz, I pre-ordered my 2006 Touring 350Z with Nav and all available options back in July 2005. I picked it up the first week of October 2005. I sam very happy I got the Nav.....I think in a couple of year Nav igation will be as common as A/C, power windows etc... My wife has the Nav on her Lexus RX330 and will NEVER own a car without it.

i have an 05 with the nav and wouldn't ever want a car without it again. granted, i hardly ever use it, only on trips. but when i do need it it's VERY handy.

Used it...didn't care for it. I don't know it was just a distraction for me. But I have always been pretty good with directions...I can see where nav is a major value-add.
Previously owned: 2005 Z Enthusiast, Super Black, 6 spd.
Currently lease: 2006 Pathfinder S, Silver, Auto

i'm good with directions too, but i still love it. you don't have to slow down and search for the next turn. or, if you're on the highway, you don't have to be constantly looking for your turn off. if you miss a turn it will reroute you. what's not to like?
of course it's useless driving around town.

good point lemans.. even if you're not quite right. your car may be the 2nd sexiest on the road, but definitely not the sexiest.
