AHA!!!! IT's the t25/t28 flange! I was browsin Phoenix Turbos website and POW! The flange! AHA! Now if I choose to bid and win, I can use that flange for a downpipe and have an 18g powering my 280Z :)
A:
Yeah. that looks like the stock Z32 flange with 1 extra bolt. Here so you can see stock 4-bolt vs newer 5-bolt

Unfortunately it appears a t25 turbine inlet flange is smaller than the t3 :(
it wouldn't work on my 280ZX exhaust manifold :(
A:
No you'd probably have to have an adapter made for it. That shouldn't cost too much, infact I'm sure SteveZ31 or one of the other fabricators on 88hybrid.org would hook you up with custom made adapter for reasonable cost.
My only question is this: why would you step down from a T3 to a T25/28? The smaller housing will probably provide less airflow and boost pressure than the larger T3 housing.

That's why Im disappointed...I found out it's the t25 inlet and not the t3. I don't have a turbo, just the manifold from a parts car, so it's not really a downgrade. A t505h 18g flows 600cfm at 15psi, and puts out about 400whp, which isn't too bad. The stock t3 flows about 30 lb/min, which is good for about 275 whp. Obviously the 18g is a big time increase in power :)
Putting a t2 flange onto a t3 flange would severely restrict air flow. In this case, it'd probably be easier for me to just find a used t3/t04b or e somewhere, or spend a couple hundred more and get a new one.

Matt I have what your looking for T3 T4 Just rebuilt by precision never installed

That sure is one hot turbo...unfortunately being freshly rebuilt, and having Precision doing it, I know it's gonna be $$$ :)
