A&Q about 350Z
Q:
just curious as to why your track wouldn't have it..like you said the track came with the aero pack including chin spoiler, diffusers, and rear spoiler. Are you looking for one becuase yours has scuffs and such?
i believe that it isnt really necessary to remove the aero pack chin spoiler with an aftermarket lip, in all instances...ive never seen a used one for sale. Besides, it really doesnt do all that much(maybe at like 120 and beyond), and is barely visible.
If you decide to get a new one though they have it for $60

well i guess i dont have a choice, but usually when i post i try to be somewhat on topic and helpful, you just seem to clutter up threads with useless opinons and blurbs...i dont usually feel the need to say anything but you really arent providing anyone with any usefull info, but since you havent stirred up any negative crap i guess i cant really call you a troll. You and maya are like a tag team duo, thats not quite bad enough to warrant a troll designation

thanks for the kind words, i dont get enough respect around here...but i think some of the guys who have been here for a while would agree that I do my best to respond to any and all threads where i feel i can help out.
I can confidently say that myself, 72, and a select few others(sluggo, daddy, etc.) have been holding up the integrity of this forum for quite a while now.
you on the other hand compulsively spit out meaningless posts as if they're going out of style

you can call me whatever you'd like. i tend to think a lot of the z people around here have a stick up their butts. as if they're part of some elite group and are pissed off that anyone can buy a z and become part of their club.
maya and i have kept this place lively. who are the real trolls? the people that want a fun forum to talk about their cars or the people that want to live in a cave and not let anyone in without the decoder ring?

ughhh, spare me... ive read thousands of threads on this and other forums and i can tell you the regulars that post here are far from stuck up...myself included. you keep this place lively? how so? nobody responds to your posts they just become another reason to scroll a bit further til you get to real meaningful information. Im not upset that anyone can buy a Z thats why I love the car so much.
All im saying though is that is that you're consistently sarcastic and add nothing usefull...it's like you just post so you can read your own words on the screen. what good does that do?
if everyone posted the same crap you did this forum would be a joke...if somebody asks a question here, they're expecting an answer not a smart ass remark. I'm all for getting more people here that are willing to be helpful and invoke conversation, thats how the forum becomes better. If it wasn't for myself and a few others you'd have a bunch of jokers posting useless info, at a 16 year old reading level. Hence it would become a Civic forum!

Oh I see. This is totally a random idea, and ask Sluggoz about this, but try buying some of that metal edging and putting it on there. I know that isn't the right term for it, but you know that metal "U" shaped tubing that covers edges and stuff. I wish I knew the proper term for it. Sluggoz put it on his plastic grill in the bumper and it looks good. This might protect the plastic from rubbing without compromising anything (just a thought).

Once in awhile somebody actually answers questions around here ... although I do not have a source for a used one for sale. Sorry.
Performance Nissan has the same part for $59.99. An outfit called autowebaccessories.com has it for $56.89
Good luck. Installation appears to be pretty easy. I'm on the verge of ordering one for my Performance model.

all of my comments support the threads they're in. if i didn't help keep the thread alive it may die before the person's question gets answered. i guess you could call me a savior. i also perform small miracles.

I'm kind of getting the same feeling as the other guys now. I'm all for some humorous responses. But.............
A:
Sheesh.
Does anyone know what i Was talking about...those small metal strips that one of the forum members ( I think it was sluggoZ) used to put over his grille. I think that putting them on the chin spoiler might be a good preventative for Steve S

A:
yes door edge guard...we bought the chrome kind for the effect but you can probably find it in black or gray. As long as it's stuck on securely it would help protect the chin spoiler, but with some hard scrapes it might rub off, its worth a try though

Maybe you guy should think about getting one of these:
It's saved my spoiler and front bumper a bunch of times.
You can get replacement material for the front edge at any RV / Trailer supply store. The roll of material cost like $20 but it allow you to replace the material three times. I bought the roll, however, mine still looks good after getting scraped by driveways and bumping into curbstones at least 20-30 times. Just don't hit the curb too hard or you'll be picking up your splitter and throwing it in the rear after it busts the screw points off.
Then, all your do is use oversized washers and your back in business:
