A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have a G35 coupe with 28,000 miles. I noticed today that the front discs have fairly deep depressions worn into both sides of the front rotor surfaces. The pads seem to be wearing into the rotor surface more than I would consider normal. Also the rotors always seem to be hot to the touch, even after only a short drive. Anyone else notice this type of problem?

A:
Ya know, I guy at my school said the same thing, he said the rotors suck, and wear too early. He had Brembos.
A:
I just had my brakes on my 350z done at 20,000 miles and they had to put new rotors on the car.
From what I know the rotors are very soft and wear out fast.
A:
my experience is the 350z rotors are made of pot metal. any nissan tech will agree. i replaced mine with the stop tech slotted rotors and hawk pads and they have proven to be light years the difference from the oem setup.
A:
Ok what is pot metal?
So the rotors are not good quality?
