A&Q about 350Z
Q:
So I am at work today and get a call from my fiance saying she has a surprise when I get home.
To make a long story short she traded in our silver 2003 Altima SE for a brand new BRIGHT RED 2006 Altima SE-R.
Car is very nice for a sedan, has the same gauges as my Z on the dash.
We had talked about getting her a convertible Z this year but she said she fell in love with the way the SE-R looks.
After the break in period I am going to get on it and see how it compares to my 04 350z Touring.
A:
SE-R's are kinda cool... no 350z though.

You can actually get a base Z for less than the Sentra SE-R.
A:
That altima should give your Z a good run. Congrats on the new addition

The Altima SE-R is lighter than the Z, but still 3279lbs. Its FWD so even though the engine is 260 at the flywheel, its probably close to the same as the Z at the wheels. FWD setups lose less power through the drivetrain than RWD.. But FWD can't transfer as much power to the ground because the weight shifts back and off the drivewheels under acceleration.
I don't really know which should be faster in a race, but it would be interesting to find out. You should make a video and post it.
I have driven both, and I think the SE-R handles comparable to the Z at good speeds but its scarier to drive that way. You feel the turns much more in the Altima. The scariest test drive I ever took was in an Altima SER with a f!cking crazy driver.

Well sad to say I have not driven it yet, I am going to take it for a spin tonight.
Rode in the car last night and it sounds really good, the exhaust note is well done and the car picks up speed very well.
So far the car is getting 25 mpg in the city and that is about 5 mpg better than I get with my Z that has a pop charger.
I can't wait for the breal in period to be over and put some Mobile One in and take a trip back to Texas to see the family.

as for saving the streams.. no is the basic answer. But sometimes you can do a file search, including system files, for any new file created on your computer. Then copy and rename with a .mov or .wmv or .avi extension (you need to know from the website what the file was created as) any files bearing "serial number" type names for lack of a better term... click on that file and play it.. and that should do it. but it depends if the entire clip has cached into your temp directories.
'06 Silverstone 6 speed touring. WOW. Just WOW!
