I'm looking at these used Kumho 710s, and I was wondering what you thought of the shoulders from the pictures.

Two are about 50% worn, and the other two have about 25-30% left. I think they will work fine for my needs, but I'm not familiar with how these tires should look used.

Yes, I've seen pictures of the tires looking new from tirerack and kumho's web sites.
I was hoping to get some opinions on the look of these used ones - in particular, the shoulders.

Having used a lot of R-compound tires, I don't think you can tell that much from the pics. A better question is how many heat cycles have the 710's been put through and how were they stored? How old are they? But appearances can be deceiving, especially when you're dealing with used R-compound tires, IMHO.

Look pretty worn to me. You can't even see the wear idicators in the slick part of the tire. JHMO. :)

I can't believe you're thinking about buying these tires! They're completely bald. You're gonna get other motorists killed if you get into a wreck. Now if you buy the rims, then thats a different story. Get some Kumhos ASX which i got . They're great for all-weather, decent performance, and great treadwear(420).
