Alll 05 owners, do we have a compass in the mirror?

Whats with the "we"? If you have an '05 and don't see a compass, I guess it means you don't have one. Or am I missing something here? I wish my '03 had it but I'm not ready to spend $300 for the aftermarket one at Courtesy.

Compass...I am confused. NO compass on any 05 I have seen.

lol, nothing like having a compass in your car but no map with which to reference it. usless digital compasses. . . look up at the sky, see the sun, check your watch, now you have a compass. Nighttime requires a bit more astronomical knowledge but still works the same.

Everybody's a comic these days. Saw a RV mirror assy at Courtesy, assumed it was Nissan, kinda hoping I missed something in the owners manual.

Hi, my local Nissan dealer has a compass in mirror rig, but it costs around $300. They don't have one made or sponsored by Nissan.
Walmart, Meijers and other retailers have the compass in mirror, and the cost is reasonable, but I can't figure how to install it from reading the package. If you have that trouble (and you may not - I'm not very mechanically inclined), some Walmart will sell it to you and probably install it for a fee. If they've done it before I'm sure the install is not difficult and therefore not expensive.
If you have good experiences, pls let me know; I'm trying to do the same thing but can't find anybody who will install it.
