I searched and couldn't find this pic. Alot of people bashed the lambo doors, I think it looks pretty cool (caveat: I would NEVER actually do this to my Z, but thought it looked cool).
Previously owned: 2005 Z Enthusiast, Super Black, 6 spd.

What some people do not understand is that the Z is NOT a Ferrari, ok.
I think its way too much for a Z to have those doors, I mean, its just doesn't look right. Simply said, it shows that you want attention, my god, what a waste of money.

i'd want lambo doors for the novelty, the ease (with the right instalation, you just pull the handle and it opens, and with lambo doors you dont have to worry about getting into you car in a tight parking job! :)

All the 'lambo' door conversions look played out on any other car that's not a lamborghini. Plus they never show you a series of pictures of how you actually have to open it up from a fully shut door to the fully openned door because it's stupid looking.
You first have to open the door and push it out, then once it's pushed straight out a few inches, then you lift it up, so it's not a scissor swivel action like true lamborghini doors that both swing up and out all in one motion not two seperate motions with these kits.
Plus it does look like you're desperately trying to make your car unique, which it is not just by the fact that we're driving a mass produced car. I simply enjoy my car for what it is, a fun sports car that I can afford, not trying to make it resemble anything else out there.

Zlover: if the Gallardo doesn't have scissor style doors...how is this a trend going a way from them? Before the Gallardo, there was only 1 car in Lamborghini's line up that had them, the Countach, the Diable, now the Murcielago...so if one Lamborghini still has them and the latest one may not...how is this a 'trend' moving away from this????

MAG, there was a company on ebay selling the lambo door kits. they actually had a short video showing exactly how to open and close the doors.

Ok, look at this video and tell me what the hell is the point of these kits if you have to open the doors so damn much before you can swing it up? I looked for a good clip of a real lamborghini door to show the difference but google failed me...but with a real Lambo there's no two motions, it's all one smooth upward motion.

i think we were talking about how the standard car door is impractical and not very user friendly. we were saying how great it would be if doors opened out and up instead, thereby having more open space to exit the car and avoiding the chance of wide swinging doors hitting expensive cars.
