Do you think Nissan will come out with Hard top for roadsters?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

They don't make them, but they should. It would be a good idea.

If they did they need to bump the engine output to at least 315 hp and 290 ft./lbs of torque, to compensate for the added weight. Nissan can do that but the price realistically would probably be over 50k
A:

if you want hard top, get a coupe.
A:

hardtop convertible would be appealing to me.

Sometimes hardtop convertable's are structurally more rigid than their coupe counterparts due to the extra reinforcement the convt.'s get. And in reality, the added components of most convt's is 75 lbs or less, given it is not electronic obviously. I can't say 100% for the 350z, but miata's, s2k's, etc. all have motors that weight 15lbs or less powering the top.

Name one roadster that is more structurally rigid than its coupes counterpart.
From everything I've ever heard, roadsters are always more prone to twisting of the body than coupes.

hardtop convertables built with open chassis in mind.
Ofcourse an open roadster vs a coupe is going to be less rigid. Within an insane amount of structuring that will always be the case.
Read more carefully, what I said was that open roadsters, like the convt. z32 and z33, have more reinforcement than their couple counterparts. THEREFORE, AFTER you add a hardtop correctly the car can have the same OVERALL rigidity of the coupe counterpart WITH the hardtop on, but at a greater cost and greater weight.
