Snow Performance

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Who woulda thunk it?
I gotta drive home in the snow tonight in Nashville, TN. I hear our Z's aren't quite snow-competent vehicles. This will be my first experience. Fortunately it hasn't really started accumulating yet, so maybe I can beat it. I am stuck in my office right now for a little while longer. The drive home should be interesting.
On this topic:
Are there any good inclement weather driving stories of either a close call save, mistake, or a "Beyond my control" experience from any of the members here? Just wondering, thought it might make for an interesting read.
If this is gay, feel free to flame...

If you have to drive your Z in the snow get yourself snow tires. They'll make a huge difference in your stability and hopfully keep the seat of your pants dry.
