Q:

Guys,
Can you explain where it says "Passed safety inspection"? What the hell is that? Is this a flooded car that had been fixed?
Why the safety inspection?
Anybody in texas know about this stuff?
Btw, the car is in so. cal now at a dealership.

In Louisiana as well as Texas, you pay $10.00 more or less the mechanic checks all lights, horn, and tint, to see if it is too dark and some use a emissions test,,then you get a sticker good for a year. really just a way for state to get more revenue, nothing more. If it was reg. in San Antonio, you dont have to worry about flood problems, unless they were in N>O> or Miss during the story and that is only a remote possibility.
