my thoughts are, the z wasnt designed to be v8, why put in a v-8.
93 z32 convertible=pearl white, 5 speed

86 z31 na=super white, 5 speed

C'mon, seriously guys!
What if that powerful v8 was in the Z instead of the v6, can you imagine the hp and how quick it would be! Remember the Firebirds from Pontiac, which I didn't like, but they had tons of muscle.
I think its a great idea, I mean, damn, how much does the Z weigh? Isn't it like 3k something? Man, the Z would be unstoppable, no doubt.

You'd have to do some major rebuilding of that engine before it would work in a Z. Its cam'd for lots of low end torque and a low redline. It revvs to slow for a sports car engine. It could be done, but its more than just a matter of fitting it in.

I think there is either a vk56 or 45 running 700+hp at 8200 rpms.
